Coldwell Banker Gundaker

VINYL GRAPHICS

Overview

Scott and Laura Kemp, Coldwell Banker Gundaker real estate agents, were looking for a fun design that would make people stop and take notice. The van was purchased with the intent to loan to their clients free of charge to help them move small items from their old homes to new ones.

Design Considerations

Being Saint Louis locals, they wanted the back of the van to be filled with objects that are native to the area, for restless people in traffic to sit and look at. In order to maintain as much realism as possible, certain elements of the graphics were staged and photographed, then edited.

Design Option 1

Client Feedback: The client liked the color scheme, but felt the shape options weren't quite right. They wanted something more than Option A but less busy than Option B. They liked the curves of Option A and the color palette or Option B. They requested the addition of a house and/or roof and a "5 star rated" graphic on the sides.

Design Option 2

Client Feedback: The client scheduled a photoshoot with their photographer to retake their portrait along with stage some photos for the back of the van. The original portraits provided would not work at full size and cut off parts of the body in a way that would clash in the design. They also wanted to include one of their yard signs, which was photographed in house and incorporated.

Design Option 3

Client Feedback: As the sides of the van are being finalized, it was determined that portraits and new photos for the back would need to be taken in house, as the original photographers photos were not working for the design. The client provided a list of Saint Louis themed items they wanted to incorporate as much as possible to the back of the van.

Design Option 4

Client Feedback: Remove the drop down with the logo. Keep the "Get Your Move On" verbiage but make it a banner flying from the Spirit of Saint Louis plane.
